We have had this for about a month and have had no issues. We got rid of our last scale because the accuracy was poor. To us, it looks like the accuracy of this is about plus or minus one pound (if you stand on it and it reads 150 and then stand on it five minutes later, it might read 149). The overall size makes it easy to keep in the bathroom. To use it, you tap it with your foot to turn it on and then it takes a second or two for it to calibrate. Once you stand on it, it give you your weight in a second or two. The display is easy to see.
The scale is simple, accurate, and easy to read day/night. Have this over 1 year now – works fine and no problems.
After using my parent’s Health o meter digital scale, this model was the closest in similarity that I could find. Accuracy seems good (cat weighed 11.8 lbs., which is about right, though you could try holding another test weight), which is useful for keeping airline freight under the fifty pound mark. This model has a wider platform, so it is very stable. The battery compartment is readily accessible, should the lithium battery ever require replacement, which remedies a complaint I noted in reviews of other models. I am quite pleased with this purchase.
