I’d had to discontinue my use of regular fish oil capsules because they gave me not only the dreaded “fish belch” but also heartburn/indigestion. I’ve been taking this brand of enteric coated caps for several days now and have had no problems whatsoever. Shipping was quick, packaging was good. Very satisfied!
There is no fishy burp with these capsules. Very good. No heartburn either.
I’ve been very pleased with this product- easy to take, only need 1 or 2 per day, seems to have a good concentration of Omega-3s. My concern is that unlike most other fish oil pills, there is no information on how much EPA and DHA (specific types of Omega-3s) are in the pills. My understanding is that EPA and DHA are what is good for you, and the miscellaneous other Omega 3s are not as helpful. The figure of 684mg total Omega 3s seems high (good), but who knows how much of that is the helpful EPA and DHA omega 3s? Does anyone have any information on this?
Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 3, a very expensive brand, contains 325mg EPA, 225mg DHA and 90mg “other Omega 3s” in each pill. These Kirkland pills have a little more total Omega 3 (684mg vs 640mg) but who knows if there is much or any of the beneficial Omega 3s.
